Civilian Hotel, Gen Art and Studio6 Gallery are proud to present the prolific NYC street artist, SacSix. Named by ArtNet as 1 of 10 global artists to keep an eye on, SacSix has collaborated with global brands including MTV, Adidas, Four Loko, and the Grammys. His work has been seen in films by Michael Bay, Spike Lee and is a part of the New York Historical Society permanent collection.
For the last 10 years, SacSix has created vibrant and iconic pop-culture wheatpaste mashups, that have left an indelible mark on the urban art scene. SacSix created this one-of-a-kind art piece specifically for the Civilian Hotel, in celebration of the Knicks Championship win. The canvas is 60” x 72”. It is mixed media including collage, spray paint, acrylic and oil sticks.
53 years in the making, the New York Knicks won their third NBA championship in franchise history, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 4-1 in the 2026 NBA Finals. Jalen Brunson was named the unanimous NBA Finals MVP. This piece commemorates Brunson and his historic MVP performance.
